What is Pricelick?
Pricelick is a free offline-first grocery companion app for Android and iOS. As you shop, you scan barcodes or shelf-label price tags with your camera and Pricelick tallies your running total in real time, including Philippine-specific discounts, so there are no surprises at checkout.
Where can I download the app?
Pricelick is available now on Google Play for Android. An iOS listing will be linked here once it's live.
Why doesn't this website have a login or a transactions page anymore?
Your shopping sessions and totals are created and stored inside the app, encrypted on your own device — they were never meant to live in a browser. Removing the web login and transactions view means one less place your data has to travel through, and it keeps this website to what it should be: information, not another copy of your account.
How are discounts calculated?
Pricelick automatically applies the correct Philippine discount rules based on the customer type you select: Senior Citizen, PWD, Solo Parent, or National Athlete. The exact discount and VAT treatment depends on the store and item type, following current Philippine regulations.
How does price comparison work?
As prices are scanned and confirmed across stores, Pricelick can show you how the same product is priced nearby, so you can decide where it's worth shopping before you check out.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your shopping history stays encrypted on your device. Pricelick only ever syncs anonymized price data back to the community — never your personal shopping history or identity. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Where does Pricelick get its store and product data?
Store locations come from OpenStreetMap, various mall and store websites, and user contributions. Seed product data comes from OpenFoodFacts, continuously added to by contributors, and prices are kept fresh by Pricelick contributors. See the data sources & attribution page for full details.
Does Pricelick work without an internet connection?
Yes. Pricelick is offline-first, so scanning and tallying your grocery total works even without a network connection. Syncing anonymized price data happens whenever you're back online.
How do I become a tester and try new features early?
Join the pricelick@googlegroups.com Google Group with the Google account you use on the Play Store, then opt in on the Play Store testing page. See Become a Tester for step-by-step instructions.
